we had a few things to do today, nothing to important though. we went to the books store in piazza di spagna again and exchanged one of our art history books for a different one.

today we had to meet for our art history class that meets on tuesday. for some reason with the whole first week of school thing, there wasn't enough room for us to use a classroom on tuesday so thus we met today.

today mike went to art history and sat and listened quite intently at the lecture. he came out of class with six pages of notes.

this morning we got a call from the Davis family. it was very good to hear from them, and it was slightly odd cause when mike said hello he said good morning,

well as the semester gets started, more and more it seems like this is really going to be school rather than a vacation...

the begining of a new semester is always a bit crazy, but its really crazy when its as semester abroad. today was the first day of classes.

this morning we woke up after a night of enjoyment in the italian culture, and a really good nights sleep, and went back to the vatican this morning for mass.

we've made it through the first week and now we are trying to figure out what to do. eventually we will be traveling and fun things like that, but we needed something to do today.

so today after sleeping in we got up and grabed something for lunch. we got up to the school and sat around for a bit waiting for everything...

today we got up and went to the university to have free breakfast and finish up the whole orientation sign up thing. We ate some really good pastries...

without knowing anything about the city, without knowing anyone in the city, we came home after our dinner with the rest of the group and awoke the next morining...

today was hectic. 8 hours on the plane from philadelphia and the seats were a little cramped at about hour 3 it became really uncomfortable...
