today mike went to art history and sat and listened quite intently at the lecture. he came out of class with six pages of notes. yes it is pretty ridiculus to take six pages of notes on the first day of class, but when you are excited what can you do.

we had lunch today in the main courtyard at school, and checked emails before going to italian.

other than school we didn't really do much today.
