after we talked to them for a bit, we got up and went up to the school to make some copies of some readings out of some books that leanne needed for her class, but then when we found out how much she was going to have to read, and how much it was going to cost more importanly, we decided to just go and get the books from the bookstore.
after we left the school we went to a laundromat that we had seen when walking around the Trastevere area to do some laundry. we sat there for a bit, and got clothes nice and clean.
after laundry was all done we went back to the apartment and put the clothes away and then had some lunch. from there for the first time while we have been hear we actually went seperate ways. leanne had to go to the main campus, while mike had to go to the art studios which are more northwest from where we live. almost slightly by the vatican.
we meet up after class, and then headed back up to the Spanish Steps. We got the books for leanne's class, our books for italian, and then walked around the area looking at what shops where there.
we got alittle hungry and went into a mc donalds cause mike had a craving for some fries, and then once in there decided to just get food. and when you hear that mickey d's are all regional, you don't really realize it until you go to one in a country that isn't in any way americanized. they still use the old styrofoam sandwhich containers. and it was also the largest mc donalds that either of us has ever seen. they had another counter by the front entrance that was just for the dessert menu, and had a fresh salad bar.
afterwards we stopped into united colors of benetton, and got leanne a sweater a t-shirt and a really cool bag. from there we headed homeput everything away and went to bed.
