without knowing anything about the city, without knowing anyone in the city, we came home after our dinner with the rest of the group and awoke the next morning. we were left to our own devices to see what we could find for breakfast. see if we could get back to the school on time for our orientation, and try and not get hit by any motorist.

we did pretty well we found where the school was and were there early. we got most of our area of town figured out pretty well. looked around at different shops and fin things like that.

our orientation today was held by Daniella Curioso from italiaidea. the michigan state study abroad office hired here to show us around the city and give us some useful information. her school is the one that hosts the summer study abroad program to rome.

mike was horrible and fell asleep during most of the classroom portion, while leanne was her usual self taking in all the information that she could get.

we had a really good day and figured out the best way to get to school we went to a grocery store that is nothing like anything that you could imagine, bought some food and went home. we sat there for a while then took a walk ended up at the coloseum and came home for some dinner and then sleep before the next days activites.
