today the davis family arrives to rome. this of course means that we have to go pick them up from the airport, and that will be fun.

we woke up at about 8 and had some breakfast, did some grocery shopping. from the shopping we brought everything back to the apartment, and then headed of to the train station. when we got there we stopped at one of the automatic ticket machines and bought our ticket for the train to get out to the airport. we had gotten there early enough to take some time to just sit, but something told us to just head out to the train.

and it was a good thing that we did. the platform that the train was at, was about a 25 minute walk from where we were. so we got to the train just in time.

we got to the airport and headed out to find the davis family, and started to look for terminal D(where father had said they would land). and this is when we realized that there was no terminal D at the airport at all. we knew that this was where they were flying into, and we knew that we were at the right airport, but we didn't know what terminal they were flying into. so we ran around and found where we needed to be. while we were sitting there waiting, we realized that father may have said B, but becuase it was cross ocean and not a good connection it sounded like D.

after we met up with them, we went to their hotel, and then leanne went to school, and mike went around with them, showing them different places in the city.

that night we went to dinner at the pizza place that we went to out first night, and for mandy's party out by the residence that the other student live in.
