yes gothic! thats where it comes from all these kids acting all "goth" its actually and architectural term. it comes from an era in time when building churchs was very "archaic." they were termed gothic becuase they were so dark inside. notre dame though is a move forward in the gothic architecture era with its flying buttresses that helped support the walls from the outside letting the church have more windows and try and let some light in.
