today we were supposed to go to Ostia Antica. its this little abandoned town that used to be the main port of rome.

but there was so much rain that we couldn't go. it rained, and it rained, and it just kept on raining.

mike watched some cartoons in italian, and a really really bad mel gibson movie. and just a note, young mel gibson looks like current collin ferrel for all of you mel gibson and collin ferrel fans.

for the rest of the day we just hung out at the apartment, avoided the rain, and got on each others nerves.

we went out for dinner and drinks, and went to bed early as to curb any further boredom that may arise from being stuck in an apartment with nothing to do.
