no school today, so we are meeting up with the davis's at the colosseum metro stop.

mike met them there, and brought them back to the apartment, and from there we were off.

today we took them up the janiculum hill, and looked at the view of rome from there, and watched them bring out the canon and fire it off at noon. after we had taken this all in, we brought them down the hill and stopped into caffe settimiano(the caffe by school). here we had them try an italian cappuchino. when we had finished those off, we went and looked at school. we sat there and had lunch on one of the terraces.

after lunch we took them around and showed them the area around trastevere, and took them to see santa maria in trastevere.

for the rest of the afternoon, we walked up to the spanish steps, and along the way doug and jared did some shopping.

after the spanish steps, we came back home, and went out to heartbreak (the restaurant in campo that we go to all the time)

during dinner we remembered that there was a bus that went to the train station, so mike walked them to the stop and got them on their way.
