Day 27
the last fiew glimpses of paris
Sunday, 15 February, 2004

today we went back downstairs to the restaurant for breakfast, and stole some of the yummy food to have later in the day, or for breakfast tommorow.

we got up and went to mass at Norte Dame, and from there just walked around the area. we stopped into this book shop called shakespere and co. and it was originally opened by a lady in 1921 to 1940. the lady who owned it helped struggling writers get published. writers like Ezra Pound, T. S. Elliot, Scott Fitzgerald, and Ernest Hemingway to name a few.

the one that we went to was opened in a different area in 1950 but followed the same idea. its right across the street from Norte Dame. while there we got leanne a copy of the great gatsby, one of her favorite books.

we then went to see the moulin rouge, then back to the hotle to pick up our luggage and off to the train station to go back to rome.
